BARE MINIMUM COOKIES, I am screaming. This post is so good - and the parallel between the Shining and Beloved is *spot on.* I had both Pet Sematary and Misery on my TBR for October and didn't get around to either - maybe one day, but it's really, really not high up on my list when there's so much else out there I'd rather be reading.
